Thank you After 14months in testing and ongoing development, freenode is finally celebrating the long awaited switch over to ircd-seven. To celebrate the move we are running a one-off, one week (must end February 7th) fundraiser. Our goal is to make £700 towards our fiscal year target as part of the £7 for seven fundraiser.

Anyone donating at least £21 in a multiple of £7 will receive a freenode t-shirt. Please indicate in notes with your donation size and choice of colour; black or white, S-XXXL. Plain t-shirts with the freenode logo on the chest. T-shirts will be shipped at the end of February 2010, and we will contact you via your paypal e-mail address to to inform you of the estimated delivery date, when the shipment leaves us. Shipments outside of the UK will be shipped via Royal Mail Surface Mail.

Please use this form to make a single, one-time 7 for seven donation to the Peer-Directed Projects Center, the not-for-profit entity which runs freenode. Donations are unconditional and irrevocable and will be used to fund PDPC programs and general operating expenses.

Donations are accepted through PayPal, but you will not be required to join PayPal in order to make a one-time donation. To donate without joining, simply use a debit or credit card which has never been associated with a PayPal account, and click the button labeled "If you have never paid through PayPal, click here."

If you'd like to make an ongoing contribution via PayPal, click here instead. An automatic, once-a-year charge/debit will be set up which you can cancel at any time. You must belong to PayPal to use this option.

To begin the donation process, follow these steps:

Select a 7for7 level from the drop-down box.
If you're a freenode user, and you'd like to wear the Cloak, we appreciate it! Just set up your IRC nick and enter your main nickname in the space provided in the form. Your acknowledgement cloak will appear on your IRC sessions for a year and will show up as 'pdpc/supporter/7for7/nick' (7for7 showing at the level you made your donation, so could be any multiple of 7).
If you spent much of your freenode time on a single channel, and you'd like to list your donation as coming from that channel, just enter its name in the bottom box. We'll keep a running tally of the number of users contributing from each channel.
