SSH WG call for ML-DSA signature draft adoption

The SSH working group ran a call for adoption of hybrid and pure ML-DSA signature drafts. SSH implementers need to track the outcome because it shapes how post-quantum signatures will be standardized in the protocol.

ML-DSA SSH code points held pending draft merge

An IANA request for SSH public key algorithm name code points covering ML-DSA remains on hold until related drafts merge. A Go implementer asked the designated experts to reactivate processing. Assigned code points are required before interoperable post-quantum public-key support can ship in SSH stacks.

DKIM2 interoperability with non-participating nodes

Participants on the ietf-dkim list disputed whether the DKIM2 draft creates an interoperability gap when legacy nodes modify messages and break signature chains. The discussion frames the issue as a protocol problem rather than a matter of local policy. Mail transfer agents and filter authors must understand the expected behavior before deploying DKIM2.

Single versus multiple RIR models for deep-space IPv6

The deepspace list clarified how single-RIR and multiple-RIR models differ in their effect on IPv6 aggregation for proposed space address allocations. RFC 10034 published for V3C RTP payload

The IETF announced RFC 10034, which defines an RTP payload format for Visual Volumetric Video-Based Coding atlas sub-bitstreams. The document supplies the missing mapping needed to carry V3C over RTP. Multimedia and real-time video implementers now have a stable reference for volumetric streams.
